Finals rush!

wahhhhH! We are so awake and it is 1:12am in the morning!!! I am here at JV's house and we are making our project in electronics. We are rushing it very much since we are so behind the schedule! Hopefully God will grant us grace and favor so that we can finish this project!! pls pray for us!! But no matter what the outcome is, I will remember that God is sovereign!! Amen!! Jeremiah 29:11!!! I claim this LORD!! :D

Stand firm!

2 thessa 2:15 "So then brothers, stand firm and hold to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter."

I was truly blessed by the message of the Lord. I can really attest that this verse is really for me. Because lately this past few weeks I was struggling with my faith. We have this subject in our university that really contradicts the teachings that I have receive from my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. The thing is, what the teacher is preaching is really convincing to me. He even showed us clips on the miracles and wonders on what that religion can do. But it is a good thing that God reminded me that I should be firm in my faith that I have received. There should only be one truth and we should check carefully every inputs that we will receive outside. When it comes to faith, God wants to tell me that we should not base our faith only on the promising words, the miracles etc. becuase if God works on our life, satan also works in our life. For me, my untimate source or standard on whether a certain input is erroneuos or not is the Bible. Nothing morem nothing less. God blessed us everyone who remained firm despite all the deception of the enemies. :D

So blessed with what the Lord said to me this day

Just this morning when I wake up, I checked my cell phone and I was moved by one of the text message. I can really feel that God is talking to me:

"I know you are tired, hurt and a little bit angry. Don't give up. You have much to do. I look beyond all your weaknesses. I forget all your mistakes. All I want you to do is believe in Me. Remember when I said it is finished? You don't have to wrestle any longer with all your troubles. Just lift up your hands. I'll take all your burdens. Don't be afriad. For I am here always. Who can be against you? Charge you guilty? Say you're unworthy? No one! I who made you, saved you, justified you, who made you worthy. I will be everything you are not. Just believe my child. I have overcome the world all for you, only for you. I love you." - GOD

You know it is really amazing how God can brighten up your day with just a simple text. :D

The day of the Lord

1 thessalonians 5:1-2 "Now brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night."


- Yes today was a day of breakthrough. Because for the first time, all of my Christian classmates gathered for a fellowship. Everybody shared how they were changed by the power of God. I could say that the sharing was very intimate annd intense to a point that most of us wants to share more about what everyone feel. And i was also happy that there were revelations and healthy confrontations that led to settling some issues within them! WEEE it is so heart warming. Now regarding the word that God imparted me today. Many people really question when will the judgement day be? I was so blessed that God guided me to this verse because it clearly states that although we do not know the actual date, but we know that it will come. It is a good comparison to the thief at night. You know, in my experience, we have been robbed in our house and I could say that we where not expecting it because we where caught off gaurd. So propably the judgement day will come in the least that we expect it. We really don't need to know the actual date or year, what's important is that we received Jesus in our life and we dont have to worry about anything. :)) God bless

It is sad to know

How come that I am feeling this way. No matter how i try to move on with my life and be happy, still, those memories keep hunting me and it hurts me so bad. How can this be happening to me? Lord, please take away this feeling of loneliness inside me. I know that for the mean time you are the only one that i can lean on to bcuz other people don't understand me. Make me strong Lord God so that I can move and grow more into you saving knowledge. Teach me to love other peolple even those I is not so lovable. I admit that I am very much hurt to today. But I know that it will not last long. Thank GOd! Glory to your name!!

3 years of now progress

Hey guyz guess what? My blog is almost 3 yrs now and I have not made any improvements in my bloggin!!! XD one of the reason is because I am a seasonal blogger which means I only blog when I feel or when I have that wisdom in me and i could write some blog. I will really try very hard starting today to update my blog. I know it will be difficult but I will take it step by step. :)) Got to sleep now and enjoy my semestral break!!! The Come back part II

I dont know what came to my mind, but I was reminded that I have a blog site that I have not checked for almost 1 year now. And thank God I was able to retrieve the important stuff in my blog like my logins nd paypal heheh,,, well I have decided to resurrect this blogsite. I pray that hopefully I can maintain I very well. :)) So guys, once again I will be posting some blogs about everything under the sun. It will tackle a lot of things like activities, events, new trends, etc... The ultimate goal of this blog is to show all of you the glory and splendor of God by blogging. The day that I received Christ

It's been awhile since i posted my last blogpost. Many happened during that duration. It started when my friends went on to our beach resort to celebrate their sem-ender party of JAMC(Jesus And Me Circle). I never intended to join the party but later on went in since she insisted me to join. Ate Jade-the founding person of Jamc-cdo, shared something to us that changed my life for the better. Here she explained that there will be 9 lessons to be more closer to God. Lesson one was all about the "means to salvation". I was interested in listening because I find it very interesting. From that day onwards, I became aware on the Truth. We should receive learn to receive Jesus Christ because he is just waiting for you to know Him.. I am proud to say that I have become a True Christian with Lord Jesus Christ as my savior. I will now dedicate this blog site to share to other people the glory of God ang to let people know the miracles that he is doing in my life! GIVE GOD WHAT IS RIGHT NOT WHAT IS LEFT!

First NCC Mindanao Cheer camp

 

November 14, 2009 was a very historical day for Philippine Cheerleading for a reason that the first ever National Cheerleading Championship Regional Camp was held on Mindanao(finally!!yahoo!!).

Baliktad nga ba tayong magbasa??

Just yesterday, I started reading the book "bakit baliktad magbasa ng libro ang mga Pilipino?" Napaka cool ng librong ito dahil ang front at back cover nito ay baliktad sa kanyang nilalaman. so kung babasahin mo ito ay para kang baliw na nagbabasa ng pabaliktad(d nya masyadong niliteral ang title..lol). I find his book very interesting because most of the things the Bob ong wrote shows how "filipino" Juan dela Cruz is. Because let's not hide the fact that some Filipinos nowadays are so influenced by western cultures to a point on forgetting their roots. It also shows what other people all around the world thinks about us pinoys(*hinihingal).(aw nag english ba ako? kaya pala tumutolo ung dugo sa ilong ko.)

MBS3: My Blogging Savvy 3egins

The 3rd Mindanao Blogging Summit. The first time that I heard this event was the time I joined one of the meetings of cdobloggers. I could still remember how excited they were when they have talked about the said event will be held at Cagayan de Oro City. Instantly, I became interested in the said event and hopeful that I can join that event.

A November 1 with no rain

Happy Halloween to everyone! This is the time wherein candles, flowers, and priest are in demand. The time when we visit our friends, relatives and loved one's who left the mortal world. I went out this afternoon to go to the Divine Sherperd Memorial Park to pay my recpect to my great grandparents, and some other relatives. It turns out to be a little reunion because a good number of close relatives went also to the place. We stayed there until 7 in the evening as many people congest in the Park. I was really thankful beacause for the first time, (as long as I can remember), it did not rain at all.

I am amazed because the sky is very clear with all of the stars and the moon shining so bright. This made the place more packed with mobs trying to visit their loved one's since there is no chance that it will rain.

 It is really the start of something ne w. You know why? here is the situation: after I have attended the 3rd Mindanao Bloggers Summit, I felt the urge to revive my old blog which I have not opened and updated in a long while. Unfortunately, I forgot my password to my blog and to my adsense as well *tears*. So I said to myself "oh well, what's the use, I might as well start all over again. I began by creating my new email add to use on my blog then getting all my old post back to my new blog, creating my new account on adsense and viola! My new site is born! Please bear with my site. It is still having some MAJOR reconstructions.LOLZ

My first CDO blogger experience..

Yesterday, i was texted by my blockmate, convincing me to go to the meeting of the CDObloggers; an org comprising bloggers from Cagayan de Oro. We also heard the a person from Phililppine Bloggers Awards is going to talk something concerning the said award giving body. At, first I was very nervous to go because they already established a bond with each other and I fear to be out of place. But to my surprise they are very welcoming. I suddenly feel a sense of belongingness to the people in that organization. : ) I will promise to do my best in being active to the said organization...

first day of class at '09

I was excited yet nervous at the opening of class this 2009.. excited for the reason that i will get to see my blockmates ands friends whom i have not seen for almost 2 weeks. At the same time nervous because for the information of everyone, next week will be our midterm exam... yes! you heard that right. We only have 1 week to tackle and review some lessons... talk about great pressure..lolz. but anywayz, the start of my 2009 was not that bad because we are complete in celebrating Christmas and new year..i hope that this year would be a real time for CHANGE not just on my habits but also on my attitude.. i've tried changing before but it only lasted for a while.. i am planning for a long term change this time. HAPPY YEAR OF THE EARTH OX TO EVERYONE!!

CDO hosted PBA game: a sign of a peaceful city, a peaceful Mindanao.

Yesterday, December 13, 2008 "was a day full of heart pounding basketball action." said my friends who watched the PBA game in CDO that was held at the Xavier University Gym 5pm in the afternoon. And for the first time, the game was highlighted by a preliminary match between some of the executives from the house representatives. Even the congressman Mikee Arroyo who we all know is the son of the president joined in to play... The presence of the PBA players and the Executives from the house of representatives is a clear manifestation that CDO or MIndanao in general is a peaceful place to visit... The picture below is a practice game/warm-up of the ever amazing Genebra Kings which later on won the game

PS. I did not watch the match because i can't afford to buy the ticket ( i think its 300-400 peso)..hehehe

NSTP: Concern for environmental sustainability

Today, December 13, 2008 was suppose to be our Christmas party together with our area in our NSTP. But we later found out that our Christmas party was postponed next Saturday because our area is being used as a station for the players of the "Philippine Olympics 2008." Instead, we went to the little theater because we will attend an open forum about the environment and its current situation today.. The forum focus on the environment in Mindanao because even though it is rich in many natural resources, we had found out that many people are abusing it... After the forum, i was intimidated by the situation and i want to do something just to stop or if not slow down environmental problems. I feel bad to those students who did not listen to the forum. its like they don't care to our environment.. HELOW WAKE UP!! WE NEED TO ACT BECAUSE WE LIVE IN THIS WORLD AND WE WILL INHERIT IT AND PASSED ON TO OUR CHILDREN AS WELL... TSK3X

Woah!! Wat a day! 4 the information of evry1, today is my birthday nd i thnk dat dis is the most exciting bday so far...knw y? Because yesterday,my mother attended a seminar at a hotel with free room accomadations,so i grab this opportunity to sleep at d hotel where my mom attended the seminar..together with my brother,we slept at the luxurous hotel...but stil,i had to wake up early at my bday bcuz i hve a class but i went to skul a bit late bcuz the hotel is very near to my skul so no hassle at all.. At skul, i did nt told dem d occasion bcuz i dnt have money to treat dem somewhere 2 celebrate my bday. although they greated me later on d day...hehe...nd one more thng, today is a full moon... Haha, ala lng, it sort of symbolizes that i wil continue to shne no matter wat lyf thrws at me...thnks to ol the pipol who greated!hehe >awt<

Today,we just had our prelims in sociology... Hmmm, it was not that hard except that there r no erasures allowed so u i had to plan what 2 answer before puting it to the answer sheet.. Hmm, tomorrow is gonna be my bday! Huhu.. I am 1 yr older nd i dnt lyk it...hahaha... Wel anyways i hope dat everythng would go as i would lyk it on my bday!hahaha >awt<

Xu days+JIG+diamond+Christmas= an advent that i will never forget...

Blog,its been awhile since my last post...i felt the laziness inside so i failed to update. So far, my december has been vry awesome because of many events dat hapened nd wil happn.. The first thng was the jesuit invitational games (jig)2008...jis is an invitational game obviously between all jesuit school on d country whch is cmposed of all ateneo schools(including shs-j). The game was exciting, super exciting to a point wherein players rambled on d court 4 some misunderstanding. I thnk dey should include boxing in the next JIG..haha. Another event dat happned was the annual Xu days.. Xu days dis yir was reli memorable because it is also d celebration of Xu @ 75. Xu has been an institution of excellence 4 75 yrs nw nd der s reli a reasn 2 celebrate..nd finally d most important celebration dat we wil celebrate dis december is Christmas. On dis day we remember da day wen a child was born. A child dat brought salvation nd hope 2 humankind. I hope dat we remember dat christmas s nt ol about gifts,fud or money.. It is the time dat we thank God 4 bringing his son 2 us that soon became our savior. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!
